Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Klario, including its website, account dashboard, AI features, text-to-speech services, audiobook library, subscriptions, credits, rewards, and related services.
Klario is operated by Klario LLC. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, publishing content, or using Klario, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for protecting your account credentials.
2. Klario Services
Klario may allow users to:
- Create and manage audiobook projects.
- Write chapters manually or generate content using AI.
- Convert written content into audio using available AI voices.
- Organize books into chapters or parts.
- Publish eligible audiobooks.
- Discover and listen to published audiobooks.
- Purchase subscriptions or generation credits.
- Participate in creator earnings or listener reward programs when available.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically according to the billing period displayed at checkout until canceled.
Prices, included credits, listening limits, creation limits, and plan benefits will be displayed before purchase.
You may cancel through your account settings or by contacting support@klario.so.
4. Credits
Credits are usable only within Klario. They are not money, stored value, cryptocurrency, an investment, or a bank deposit.
Credits cannot be redeemed directly for cash. Completed text or audio generation requests consume credits.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of original content you create or upload.
By publishing content through Klario, you grant Klario a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, stream, display, distribute, and promote that content as necessary to operate the platform.
6. Your Responsibilities
You may use only content, voices, recordings, and images for which you have the necessary rights and permissions.
You must not:
- Publish copyrighted material without authorization.
- Clone or imitate a real person's voice without proper consent.
- Impersonate another person.
- Publish illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or privacy-infringing content.
- Manipulate listening activity, ratings, rewards, referrals, or earnings.
- Bypass security, billing, usage limits, or access controls.
7. Artificial Intelligence Output
AI-generated text and audio may contain errors, inaccuracies, bias, or unexpected results.
You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing or using it commercially.
Klario does not guarantee originality, accuracy, legal compliance, suitability, or commercial success.
8. Publishing and Moderation
Publishing an audiobook does not guarantee approval, promotion, listeners, earnings, or continued availability.
Klario may reject, restrict, unpublish, or remove content for legal, copyright, fraud prevention, safety, or quality reasons.
9. Earnings and Rewards
Creator earnings and listener rewards are not guaranteed. They may be subject to identity verification, payout thresholds, payment fees, taxes, refunds, disputes, and fraud review.
Fraudulent, artificial, duplicated, or manipulated activity may be excluded, reversed, or withheld.
10. Third-Party Services
Klario may rely on third-party providers for artificial intelligence, text-to-speech, hosting, email, analytics, identity verification, and payments.
11. Suspension and Termination
Klario may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security or legal risks, infringe third-party rights, or engage in fraud or abuse.
12. Service Availability
Klario is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that generated output will meet every user's requirements.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klario LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Total liability will not exceed the amount paid by the user to Klario during the twelve months before the claim, except where prohibited by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
